A musician for 37 years, Scott Jones is a full time composer, instructor, and player from St. Louis Missouri who has, for nearly two decades, arranged, composed and music-directed for experiential-theatrical percussion shows which have drawn 40,000 people a year; transcribed, arranged and orchestrated for mega churches; and has recently embarked on creating a new immersive show with the illustrious conductor, Dan Presgrave from Washington University.
Scott is a renowned guitarist as well, who has received critical acclaim from all over the world for his progressive jazz composing and playing, including a spot on the Grammy nominations finalist list in 2003 for Best Contemporary Jazz Album. Scott was featured in the Oct. 2005 Guitar Player magazine, an international publication with a history of 40+ years, Scott was named one of the world's top ten undiscovered guitarists by the editors of the magazine. 10 finalists were chosen by the editors of GP magazine, out of 3000 submissions from all over the world.
Scotts background and diversity has broad influence on the music he composes for use in films, film trailers, video games and other media, which has been well received throughout the industry and academic circles.
